Amid the blankets of the sky and autumn foliage are suggestions of a bird facing right with outstretched wings and a cliff nose to the left of an eye/cosmic body. The extruded cliff arc suggests a crescent of Iroquois-style hair. The eye reveals the dark profile bending left toward a large stream. Rocks suggest the artless right shoulder and head of a rock figure facing right while lying in the stream. I was inspired by several landscape photographs courtesy of pdphoto.org.
