Some would be satisfied to call this trick feature an optical illusion. However, for me, it is somehow a real tapping into the multi-dimensions of all that is. I just love when the spontaneous design emerges in such an artless fashion!
The prominence of the black background emphasizes an underlying tie rather than a dichotomy between interstellar space and the earthiness of internal or external caves, streams, and mountains -- hinted at by the textures in the head of the seated figure.
That the entire universe as vibrating is suggested in the unconfined music-like staff. and the rainbow-like body.
